Engine transfer case is leaking approximately enough amount to empty the engine in 3 weeks. There was a recall that was never done by previous owners. Requesting a claim for a recall that was closed in 2002. I discovered the recall and the failed parts after I purchased it from a private sell 04/21/11. Failed transfer case still exists on this vehicle. My safety concerns due to a failed transfer case are as follows: hot running engine, poor performance, difficult shifting, faulty sensors, poor mileage, environmental safety, etc. *trOwner report · Engine And Engine Cooling · Apr 2011
Tl*the contact owns a 1994 mitsubishi 300 gt. The contact stated that the passenger side front tire separated from the vehicle while he was driving approximately 45 mph. The vehicle was towed to his residence where he noticed that the subframe connected to lower control arm broke which caused the failure. The contact called the manufacturer who offered no assistance. The vehicle had not been repaired. The current and failure mileages were 218,442.Owner report · Suspension · Oct 2010
Seat belt in my 1994 mitsubishi 3000gt do not function. I had them checked out and the mechanic said that it was notoriously common on these to have bad non-operational seat belts. If it is notoriously common why has mitsubishi not taken care of the problem? I am just concerned that the belts I am getting installed will do the same thing, they are of the same manufacturer, so says the dealership. Right now my belts are only used for show until the new belts come in. Law says you need to wear a seatbelt, but mine will not do its job if I do get in a wreck. *trOwner report · Seat Belts · Jan 2010

The seatbelts do not function properly. When the seatbelt is pulled on it does not retract, leaving enough slack in the belt that if an accident were to occur, it would not serve its purpose as a safety restraint. *trOwner report · Seat Belts · Oct 2008
My front seat belts in my car no longer retract. They won't tighten up against me and probably wouldn't hold me too well if I was in an accident. The car is a 94 mitsubishi 3000gt vr-4. *jbOwner report · Seat Belts · Nov 2007
Front seat belts do not retract after the seat is returned from the forward position. Also, they do not retract if too much slack is pulled when buckling the belt. The slack has to be fed back into the tensioner to make the seatbelt fit tight in order to be effective during a crash. *akOwner report · Seat Belts · Jun 2007
Seat belt comes out but doesn't retract to become tight on the driver. Then, doesn't retract back to get out of the way, it goes across the driver in a sloppy loose manner. *akOwner report · Seat Belts · Jun 2007
Seat belt failure on 1994 mitsubishi 3000gt. Does not retract automatically and leaves loose gap when engaged, would not stop driver if in front end collision. *akOwner report · Seat Belts · May 2007
My 1994 3000gt seat belts when pulled out don't retract front and back seat belts, and I am not able to always manuelly push them back in. *akOwner report · Seat Belts · Apr 2007
During december I almost had an accident when a vehicle cut me off on the highway. I immediately pressed my brake pedal but my seat belt did not work. Later on I realized my seat belt doesn't retract when the weather is humid. *nmOwner report · Seat Belts · Dec 2006
