As I was drving the vehicle stopped in the middle of traffic with no warning or no warning lights on the dash. I had it towed to the nearest dealer where they informed me that the motor was blown at 86,000 miles after buying it at 66,000 miles from lexus of lincoln. The dealer informed me that they cold not do anything and now being stuck with a $6000 loan on a vehicle that is no longer available to drive.Owner report · Engine · Nov 2020
I got in my vehicle 1 morning and noticed knocking once I started it. A very light knock. I immediately knew something was wrong. I checked and changed my oil. The oil was milky and I suspected that coolant was being mixed with oil. I have always got my oil changed when required. My car has never ran hot. The vehicle was stationary in my home driveway. Faulty door locks : the doors will not unlock using the key fob on mks model in weather temperatures above 70 degrees and it poses a safety hazard if children are in the car. When attempting to unlock the car using the fob or keyless entry the feedback is a rapid unlock/re-lock, similar to a jackhammer. Tl* the contact owns a 2009 lincoln mks. While driving approximately 60 mph, the gear shift lever moved from auto to auto/manual mode independently. Woltz & wind ford (located at 2100 washington pike, carnegie, pa 15106, (866) 384-2889) was contacted and a diagnostic appointment was scheduled. The vehicle was not repaired. Breaks on london mks 2009, the breaks on this car continuer to have problems. I have taken it to multiple shops and no-one can find the problem. I have replaced the master cylinder, breaks, rotor, checked break line and they are all good and continue to grease the caliper pins. The telescoping feature of the steering wheel has a gear inside of the steering column that is known to fail in this particular vehicle, which could cause safety concerns if the steering wheels needs to be raised in the event of a collision. Tss/oss failure. While driving the vehicle on the highway, the vehicle suddenly lost power and I was unable to accelerate. I continued to press the accelerator and the vehicles rpm's increased, but the vehicle began to slow down. Then the transmission slammed into gear and made the vehicle jerk. The engine light, a service advanced trac message appeared, and the wrench light came on. Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain model year 2009-2012 Ford Flex, 2008 and 2010-2012 Ford Taurus, 2008-2009 Ford Taurus X, 2008 Mercury Sable, 2009 and 2011 Lincoln MKS vehicles. The driver frontal air bag may improperly inflate during second-stage deployment in the event of a high speed crash. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 208, "Occupant Crash Protection."

Remedy: Ford will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and replace the driver's frontal air bag module, as necessary, free of charge. The recall is expected to begin on June 13, 2016. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 16C06.
