I am writing to report a concern regarding an unresolved safety recall for my 2023 Lexus LX 600. Lexus notified us of this recall on November 6, 2025. However, nearly four months later, the company continues to state on its website that no remedy is currently available. Given the significant purchase price of this vehicle-exceeding $100,000-I find it unacceptable that a resolution has not yet been provided. I respectfully request that this matter be reviewed and that appropriate action be taken to ensure a timely and effective remedy for affected customers.Owner report · Engine · Nov 2025

My car suffered complete engine failure at 25,522 miles. Lexus claims that it is not in the VIN range of the recall. However, it is the exact same problem all other 2022-2023 LX600 are experiencing and being recalled for. Lexus is clearly minimizing the extent of the engine failure issue and my VIN is also part of the problem.Owner report · Engine · Apr 2025
my problem occurs intermittenly, it occurs when i am idling at a stop. when i have to accelerate from the stop the car will lurch forward and die for approximately 3 seconds. It will then restart and drive normally, however the stopping in the middle of oncoming traffic is potentially life threatening. It has occurred approx 8 times since i bought the car in June 2023. I had the ECO recall done and it also occurred shortly after that. I have taken it back to the dealer and they could not recreate the problem. It occurs after idling and waiting and then accelerating quickly to merge.Owner report · Engine · Apr 2025
I received notice over a year ago that the engine in my Lexus was defective and failure could cause damage, injury or death because the engine would seize up. We drive in rural areas, often outside of cell service. We are [XXX] and to be stranded, especially at night, would be very dangerous. I have made several calls to dealers and Lexus in Plano, and no one is willing to do anything about the problem they have created. They offer nothing. My car has had a rough idle off and on for 1 year. What is really scary is that 2 times in the last two weeks I have lost engine acceleration when pulling into traffic.Owner report · Engine · Jun 2024
I have had several incidents of having to accelerate quickly and the engine stalled out. i reported it to the dealership and they claimed they could not recreate it and sent me on my way. Now that there is a supposed recall I would like to get my motor replaced or at least scheduled asapOwner report · Engine · Mar 2024
