Gas leak in the fuel system. Obvious gas smell when car is turned on. Because of the impending danger i have taken the vehicle to á local independent service center for evaluation. They are in the process of confirming the problem. I could not chance driving too far to the dealer because of the hazzard and risk. There were no warning lights indicating the problem.Owner report · Fuel/Propulsion System · Jul 2026

My car shifts into neutral while I'm driving. This is the same issue that I see recalls for but it's stating that my car is not effected. Also, the rear suspension makes a loud grinding noise for no reason. It's weird because other 2014 Land Rovers have these exact same recall warnings and my vin number comes up clear on the internet. This vehicle only has 45k miles on it.Owner report · Suspension · Apr 2023

While pulling out, the vehicle stopped running in the middle of the road. On restart the gear selector went down and I was unable to switch to neutral to push it out of the way. I had it towed to landrover and they told me the cam sprocket stopper dropped onto my timing chain and made it fall off. Looking online it seems like this is a big issue and still no safety recall. This issue is known by landrover and I don't see why life's have to be risked for things to get fixed.Owner report · Engine · Mar 2022
The front door will not open on the driver's side from the outside. It will only open from the inside due to the door handle.Owner report · Structure · Mar 2022
The powertrain just went out at 60k miles. I googled regarding this n found a lot of other complaints with the powertrain even a lawsuit.Owner report · Power Train · May 2021
The timing chain continues to slip and need to replaced . Looses power, check engine light continues to come on. Been happening for about a year.Owner report · Engine · Dec 2020
We bought this vehicle in dec. 2019. After 10 months of driving all stability control and awd failed while driving. Com to find out there's a recall on transmission would have never knew without investigation. Still not sure who to contact. It seemed to be a problem for previous driver also evident in owner's manual. Was never told. I was driving sounded like the car was coming apart w every bump. On i65 interstate when it happenedOwner report · Power Train · Nov 2020
It is known the 2014 range rover/evoque has a terrible and repeated problem with the turbo /super charger over boost condition. It costs thousands of dollars to repair. This is due to a failed design with the exhaust system as range rover came up with a new design after 2014. *trOwner report · Power Train · Jun 2020
Our 2014 Land Rover Evoque has a gear knob (gear shifter) located on the console. The gear knob changes by itself from drive, to neutral, to park. Dangerous! We identified this as part of a safety recall and took it to the dealer for repair. They updated the software and sent us on our way. After the same issue occurring several times, we took it back to the dealer at which time the stated we need a new transmission for over $17,000!!! The vehicle last showed only 35,000 miles! We have begged and pleaded our case with the dealer and repeatedly with Land Rover USA with no satisfactory resolution.Owner report · Power Train · Jun 2020
