On Feb 5, 2025, I received written confirmation from Infiniti Consumer Affairs (Case #[XXX]) that my vehicle was eligible for recall repair. However, on Jan 27, 2025, my Infiniti dealer (Stevens Creek Infiniti) informed me that Infiniti had denied the recall, despite this being necessary for California emissions compliance. This contradicts their initial confirmation and leaves me unable to legally smog or register the vehicle. The Infiniti Q60/Q50 has issues with the accessory belt. The belt is known to break without any warning or major signs of wear and tear. When the belt breaks it makes the car difficult to drive and poses a safety risk. This issue affects the 2017-2022 models. When the belt break it causes additional problems such as faulty water pumps, and engine over heating leading to major engine problems. These cars should have been recalled years ago. Drivers on social media have reported the problem with less that 10000 miles and up.Owner report · Engine · Sep 2022
I was driving down I59 just north of Hattiesburg MS with no one around me or going over an overpass when my sunroof exploded. There is no chance it was hit with anything, there was no one in front of me and no one beside me and no structures overhead. I was driving with cruise control on and not changing lanes or swerving. My wife was driving behind me and witnessed the event, glass just exploded from the top of the car. There is no chance anything hit it.Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Jun 2021

Was told my service advisor that I need new tires at less than 20,000 despite having them rotated, balanced and/or aligned on a regular basis at dealer. Ride is extremely loud and tires sway erratically at slightest deviation in pavement. Reviews state that these tires often bubble up and explode causing a serious safety issue.Owner report · Wheels · Mar 2019
