“Previously reported issues to dealership about issues with instrument cluster going black and had it brought in for recalled software updates. Received paperwork stating completion of Campaign 302 and 304 on July 18th, 2026. While driving on the interstate on August 13, 2026 I had the cruise control, lane assist, and steering assist active. The instrument cluster went completely black and at the same time I experienced unusual steering behavior which led to me going into the next lane and hitting another vehicle.”Owner report · Electrical System,Lane Departure · Aug 2026

“I was driving on Hwy 41 in Lutz, Fl in middle lane (out of 3 lanes) at around 50 miles per hour, then suddenly a warning came up on my infotainment consule that noted that my driver assistance system was not functional. My car then slowed down to 20 mph and would not accelerate. The line of cars going fast behind me started to honk at me. I had to put on my hazards and slowly get into far right lane and eventually pull over. I then came to a stop and turned my engine off. I was able to get back on US Hwy 41 and the error did not happen again and I was able to get to work (albeit, 5 minutes late)”Owner report · Vehicle Speed Control,Forward Collision Avoidance · Jul 2026
“Electronic display keeps rebooting while driving. Today dashboard info (speedometer, tach, gas level, etc.) totally blacked out for a 25 mile trip. Couldn't tell how the speed, how much gas left, etc. Vehicle has been serviced twice for this, most recently 6/30/2026. Software upgrade did not fix.”Owner report · Electrical System · Jul 2026
“The rear door locks and trunk lid do not always unlock. This creates a safety concern for rear passengers because they cannot easily exit the car because door won't unlock. The dealership says issue is intermittent yet it's still happening.”Owner report · Electrical System · Jul 2026
“I bought my car in for recalls and they performed service. I got down the road when the HUD started going out over bumps. They could not duplicate it when I bought it back after picking it up. This was yesterday 7/16/26. They have had this car for a total of 18 days not including other issues that I have bought it in for. Today I am having issues with the instrument cluster and HUD going out randomly over bumps still. This is exactly what I explained when dropping it for the repair. This is resulting in me not being able to read the instrument cluster since it displays no signal on cluster or goes completely black.”Owner report · Electrical System · Jul 2026
“While i was driving 65 MPH on the highway with several car length ahead of me I gently tried slowing down and the car jammed on the brakes forcefully causing my husband and I to be jolted forward and seatbelts locked. Thankfully, the person behind me did not hit me. This is a recall that was supposedly fixed by Hyundai dealer on 7/6/2026 a front view camera update however this incident happened on July 17, 2026. I brought to Circle Hyundai ,Shrewsbury on July 27 and they said codes are fine and could not replicate the issue.”Owner report · Service Brakes,Forward Collision Avoidance · Jul 2026
