Common problems
Computed from 140 owner complaints filed with NHTSA for this exact model year.
“I had the same issue that prompted a recall of the 2024 prologue, screens went completely black while I was driving on the interstate around 8 pm. The black screen spontaneously resolved after about one minute. That was really scary not having important operating info such as my speed and my GPS directions!”Owner report · Electrical System · Jul 2026
“Backup camera is completely black when it is dark outside, making it worthless. It is fine during daylight hours. The local Honda dealer acknowledged that there is a problem, but stated that Honda has no solution for it at this time.”Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Jun 2026
“I was traveling at a steady speed of 35 MPH approaching an intersection with a red traffic signal. There was a single vehicle already stopped at the light, but it was positioned a significant distance ahead of my vehicle. Without any warning, driver input, or hazard present, my vehicle initiated an uncommanded emergency braking maneuver. The vehicle forcefully decelerated from 35 MPH to a complete stop (0 MPH) in the middle of the roadway. Prior to this incident, the vehicle's forward collision system has exhibited false positive detections, frequently issuing warnings for phantom vehicles or obstacles when the road ahead was completely clear”Owner report · Forward Collision Avoidance · Jun 2026

“Recall on rear view cams and front dashboard connectivity is a continuous issue with the car and the dealership visits did not resolve the problem and recalls are still pending for want of spares and non availability of techs or some reasons by the dealer”Owner report · Service Brakes · Jun 2026
“Exiting the interstate waiting to turn right and behind one car that was able 10 feet in front of me, the car suddenly slammed on the brakes hard enough to make me think I was hit by another car. There was nothing close by.”Owner report · Service Brakes · May 2026
“Clicking noise coming from the front axles when turning either right or left. ADAS settings seem to be too sensitive. Car slams on the emergency brake when backing out of a parking spot with no obstacles in view. Forward warning system alerts occur even though there is nothing in front of the car.”Owner report · Steering · May 2026
“At about 5000 miles the car began a slight clicking noise after turning left. When the wheel was straightening out. As time progressed it started happening both left and right turns and the noise got louder. Honda dealer said that was normal without looking at it. How is a loud clicking noise normal on a car with under 7000 miles. Trying to get axles replaced but they are denying the repair as it's just loud and noisy. The wheel also has a slight vibration now.”Owner report · Wheels · May 2026
“When turning at low speeds and sometimes on the highway the car will mta clicking noise and even drift to the right . I've had a wheel alignment done and the problem still continues”Owner report · Steering · Apr 2026
“While driving yesterday the service high voltage system light came on again. I have brought my vehicle to Honda 2 other times for the exact same issue. They fix whatever the issue is and the problem happens again. That last time it was about a month after bringing it to them but this time is has been 3 possibly 4 months but I have have the car less than 1 year.”Owner report · Electrical System · Apr 2026
“There's a knocking or clicking sound when I turn, and sometimes when I'm not turning. It seems to be coming from the front left wheel area.”Owner report · Suspension · Apr 2026
