I have had my 1995.5 honda passport since new. It has always been well taken care of. The body panels, interior and engine are in excellent condition at 175,000 miles. However, upon inspection it was deemed as unsafe to drive due to the entire frame rusting out from bottom up. No rust on any of the body panels, only the frame. I feel all years of the passport should be recalled as my suv is unsafe to drive and cannot be repaired without a full frame replacement.Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Feb 2015

I recently had work done on my 1995 1/2 honda passport for bad wiring on the fuel pump. Which turned out to be corrosion of the wiring on top of the pump. While under the vehicle my mechanic noticed how corroded the frame was and that it was rusting through. He called me out of concern and had me come down to look at it. He said it was bad behind the passenger side rear wheel and even worse behind the passenger side front wheel. It appears that the frame is almost completely rusted through. He recommended that I do not drive it anymore and that it is a danger to anyone on the road. This is the only vehicle that I own. *trOwner report · Structure · Feb 2010
