“I got a "supplemental restraint problem. See your dealer." message on my car's dashboard. My car is available for inspection upon request. The air bags may not deploy in a crash, and this poses a critical safety problem. I haven't taken it to a dealer or independent center yet. It hasn't been inspected by anyone yet. There weren't any lamps, messages or other symptoms of the problem prior to the failure, and when did they first appear.”Owner report · Seat Belts · Jun 2026
“Rear Hatch glass has shattered while the vehicle is unoccupied two times now. Honda said it was inspected and was fine after the first rear glass was replaced and then the same thing happened again. They state they have no recall, just a safety inspection. Service bulletin 24-012. First Date of damage: 12/15/2023 Second Date of Damage: 3/30/2026”Owner report · Structure · Mar 2026

“The contact owns a 2023 Honda HR-V. The contact stated that all the warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle stalled upon starting. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic, where the fuse was replaced. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. While depressing the start button, the look in the rear mirror was displayed. The vehicle failed to start. The brake pedal was kicking back. The vehicle was taken to the local dealer, who was unable to determine the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was contacted, but no assistance was provided. The failure mileage was approximately 28,000.”Owner report · Electrical System,Service Brakes,Engine · Mar 2026
“I purchased a brand new 2023 Honda HR-V. Recently, the passenger-side LED headlight assembly suddenly stopped working, and I had to pay $1,500 out of pocket to replace it at a Honda dealer. Shockingly, just one month later, the driver-side LED headlight also completely failed. Having both major LED headlights fail within a single month on a vehicle less than 3 years old indicates a severe factory defect, likely caused by a faulty Body Control Module (BCM) or a voltage spike in the electrical system. This poses a critical safety hazard for nighttime driving. Honda refused to cover it under warranty due to high mileage, but this is clearly not normal wear and tear.”Owner report · Exterior Lighting · Jan 2026
“Had my car parked in my house garage. Drove out of garage to go to work. While waiting on garage to close, heard an explosion and realized my back windshield shattered. When I got out to inspect and take pictures, it shattered even more. Took to dealership. Waiting to hear back from Honda corporate. Tired of issues with this car.”Owner report · Visibility/Wiper · Jan 2026
“I had just arrived home from a short 2 mile drive and was sitting in my car for a few minutes with the vehicle running when the rear glass suddenly shattered. Confused and startled, I got out of the car to inspect what happened and noticed the the entire glass was shattered and left and right edges broken more than the rest. While taking photos, the middle of the glass caved in. This is a known issue, and the manufacturer issued a recall regarding this. The rear windshield was replaced last December by the dealer.”Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Dec 2025
“My back windshield shattered and when I went to the dealership they said there was a recall on the back windshield but I never received any notification about this recall”Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Dec 2025
“The rear window glass suddenly broke with a huge sound. The glass brokes to pieces completely. No warning light was activated. It happened 10 minutes ago. I haven't reported to my insurance or dealer. I used defrost function. Before this accident happened, I smelled a burning flavor a little. Also, the range dropped almost 10 miles over a 2 mile distance. I am not sure if those phenomena relate or not.”Owner report · Visibility/Wiper · Nov 2025
