“The horn on all 2024 Honda CRV’s cannot meet any safefy standards. When honked it sounds like the Looney Tunes Roadrunner! My daughter almost got run off the road this week even though she was honking the horn. Newer models and older models do not have this wimpy horn as this is the third CRV I have owned.”Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Jul 2026
“My 2024 Honda CRV Sport Touring Hybrid AWD has the very same engine and parts as the Canadian model. So far the Canadian version with the exact same equipment as well as the U.S. version has a poorly designed HEAD GASKET that have resulted in NUMEROUS engine failures with no warning. In CANADA the engines have been recalled for this safety concern and resulting catastrophic engine failure. My complaint is that since there are many drivers in the U.S. that have the EXACT same engine with the EXACT same problem deserve the SAME recall to correct this manufacturing defect that will result in an UNSAFE condition without repair.”Owner report · Engine · Jul 2026

“While driving on the highway, the driver's side rear passenger window exploded. Only vehicle near me was a pickup truck starting to pass me on the driver's side. The window was open about 2", as well as the driver's window. It sounded like a blast went off next to the car and I saw glass flying across the back seat. It even landed in the compartment behind the seats”Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Jul 2026
“Windshield wiper washer does not properly clean the windshield. Holding the wiper stalk in the spray position , the spray only squirts for a sec or so as the wiper blade is vertical . Not enough cleaning solution is deposited in the correct location to clean the windshield. All other vehicles I have owned spray solution the entire duration of the wiper stalk being in the spray position. This is the best way to insure that the windshield is properly cleaned for safe viewing.”Owner report · Visibility/Wiper · Jul 2026
“At 112,000 miles, the engine in my 2024 Honda CR-V Sport Hybrid (2.0L Atkinson-cycle engine) suffered a catastrophic head gasket failure, causing severe coolant intrusion into the cylinders. All scheduled maintenance intervals in the owner's manual were followed and documented. The dealer and corporate (Case #16444920) have refused assistance. This is a widely documented mechanical defect where constant thermal cycling (the gas engine repeatedly turning on and off during hybrid operation) stretches the factory head bolts and destroys the gasket seal. This defect can lead to unexpected, total engine failure while driving at highway speeds, posing a severe safety risk to the occupants.”Owner report · Engine · Jul 2026
“I was pulling into a parking space at church. I had my foot lightly on the brake as the idle speed was sufficient to enter the parking space. When I pressed on the brake to stop the car completely the brakes failed and the car lurched forward about 10 ft and hit the church building damaging my front left bumper, buckling the hood and components behind the bumper.”Owner report · Service Brakes,Fuel/Propulsion System · Jun 2026
“Car was idling rough, then a couple weeks later all dash light warnings came on. Took to dealership, said fuel injectors 2 and 4 were bad”Owner report · Fuel/Propulsion System · Jun 2026
“The tire repair kit busted on me and the steering wheel is having problems I'm guessing assuming to the steering box being defective but I've called Clark Knapp Honda and they told me that they couldn't make an appointment with me even though I'm driving around with defective equipment and it's kind of an emergency but they're telling me I have to wait for you guys to send me a letter.”Owner report · Steering · Jun 2026
“The contact owns a 2024 Honda CR-V Hybrid. The contact stated that the trunk was not designed with a safety barrier at the entry, causing a propane tank to roll out of the vehicle upon opening the trunk. The propane tank hit the ground, bounced and hit the contact's chin. The contact sustained temporary pain. The dealer was notified of the issue and informed the contact that it was a factory design flaw. The dealer advised the contact to purchase a trunk storage net to resolve the issue. The manufacturer was not contacted. The issue was not resolved.”Owner report · Structure · May 2026
