2022 Honda Accord: problems, recalls and reliability

“Touch screen on console has lots of ghost-touches .The audio screen keeps switching radio on when it was in off position. It goes into settings or prompts for factory reset while driving, and without touching it. Also, Android AutoPlay navigation keeps jumping around on the map, and giving excessive warnings for next turn, without touching it. “2022 Accord Sport 2.0T. Wireless Apple CarPlay repeatedly fails with "Unable to connect to iPhone14." Bluetooth HandsFreeLink remains connected and the vehicle sees the phone. I have completely deleted and re-paired both Bluetooth and CarPlay; it works initially and then fails again after one or two ignition cycles. Re-pairing the phone is only a temporary fix. I'm also getting what I consider a safety hazard, where the Infotainment system cuts out phone calls, switches to the radio or changes radio stations without anybody touching it, sometimes several times in a 10-15 second period.”Owner report · Electrical System · Sep 2026

“The contact owns a 2022 Honda Accord. The contact stated that while driving 65 MPH, the infotainment screen unexpectedly started scrolling randomly. Additionally, there was a beeping sound during the failure. The failure was a recurring failure. The dealer was contacted and diagnosed the vehicle with an electrical failure. The contact stated that the manufacturer had not authorized the dealer to do the repair, even though the vehicle was under warranty. The manufacturer was contacted by phone and was made aware of the failure and stated there was no remedy available. “Odometer Fraud. The contact purchased a 2022 Honda Accord. It was discovered that there was a mileage discrepancy. The vehicle was a private sale. “The head gasket failed in the engine. Coolant leaked into the cylinder head causing the engine to overheat and put the driver at danger to immediate vehicle failure while driving. “1) incident 1: While changing lanes on an empty street emergency brake kicked in although there is vehicle in front or rear in adjacent lane. Incident date: 08/6/2026 2) incident 2: during snow time on a free way I75 towards airport. AEB kicked in multiple times. Environment Conditions: Snowing, Road is icy and vehicle was moving at 30mph. This situation was scary as we had vehicle in front and rear. If wouldn't have intervened my car would be sandwiched between front and rear traffic cars.
