“Car shuts off at highway speeds and in stop and go traffic like it has a fuel delivery issue. Car sputters and then loses all power. I know there was a previous recall on this vehicle but I'm curious whether it was actually fixed on my car specifically.”Owner report · Fuel/Propulsion System · Jul 2026
“this has been on going and was intermittant but recently it is constantly occurring: while driving the radio/speakers emit and incredibly loud static/interference sound. it i so loud in fact, the speakers sound like theyre going to blow. i am unable to stop the sound, the volume button nor power button stop the sound. turning the car off then on doesnt stop it either. the sound is so loud and distracting, it is not safe. i have MANY videos of the occurrences but no photos (since you cant hear the incidents via photo). please contact me for these.”Owner report · Electrical System · Jul 2026
“This vehicle was involved in an accident. The car crashed into a concrete barrier separating the interstate highway. The front passenger airbag appeared to only partly deploy, and the driver air bag did not deploy.”Owner report · Air Bags · Jun 2026

“Very loud static across multiple speakers, often independent of radio volume with intermittent static through multiple speakers even when muted or off. I can't hear sirens or emergency vehicles. I can't hear anything except loud static. This is a safety hazard. I read comments about this being a common issue with 2016/2017 Honda Accords XL and higher. This is a factory/manufacturer's defect. There should be a recall so customers don't have a $1400 expense for replacement. Unable to upload video of very loud static noise.”Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Jun 2026
“The car hit the brakes automatically at 70MPH when passing on the left. There was absolutely nothing in front of the car that should have triggered the CMBS.”Owner report · Forward Collision Avoidance · Apr 2026
“The rearview camera on my 2017 Honda Accord has permanently failed. When the vehicle is placed in reverse, the display activates and the yellow guide lines appear, but the actual camera image is completely cloudy and unusable. The camera appears to have an internal failure. The vehicle has lost the ability to provide a clear rear view through its factory-installed backup camera system. Honda has recently addressed similar rear camera clouding/water intrusion issues on other models. I am requesting that NHTSA investigate whether this condition represents a broader safety defect affecting Honda Accord vehicles.”Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Apr 2026
“The vehicle's audio system produces loud static noise even when the audio system is turned off. The static sound fluctuates randomly in volume and often becomes loud enough to overpower music when playing. The issue affects multiple speakers throughout the vehicle. The problem occurs intermittently and does not depend on the radio source.”Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Mar 2026
“I unlocked my car using the buttons on my key. I put my my purse along with my phone and my key in the car and I close the door and went to the trash to throw away an empty cup. When I got back to my car 2 minutes later the car relocked itself with my purse my phone and the keys in the car.”Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Mar 2026
“ABS control module failed. It put me at risk because my car shut down on me while driving could have resulted in a car accident.”Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Feb 2026
“Loud unbearable static noises coming from speakers. Hard to stay focused when driving. Was told by the dealership that it's the radio control head.. Very expensive to replace. Now I'm hearing a lot more people are having the same issue with their Honda Accord. This is a mental and road safety concern and should be recalled.”Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Feb 2026
