“In the last 12 months the dash has cracked in multiple places and the paint on the hood and roof has cracked and faded. I have already had the hood repainted but the roof is more extensive and should not have to be repainted after only 6 years. This could be a potential safety hazard if the air bags doesn't deploy properly because of the broken structure of the dashboard. Is there a voluntary gm recall or a NHTSA recall for this problem? “Dash issues have plagued the 2007-2014 gmc trucks. Mine is included in this. There is cracking all around the area where the passenger airbag is. This problem is understood by general motors and the dealership that currently has possession of our yukon needs to repair this dashboard under warranty rather than putting a dash cover over it.
