Intermittent electrical issues. Doors locks and windows don't always work. Sometimes when I shut my car off it dies. Like I can't turn it back on. Running boards don't go up, can't lock it, nothing. Dead. Then 15 minutes later it's fine. Sometimes when driving, it's like it's cutting out, not getting enough power or different warning lights will randomly flash. I just never know when it's going to be working properly. I'm just afraid something will happen while we are driving. We also use the yukon to tow a trailer. I need to be able to depend on it. The shop can never duplicate the issue and they just look at me like I'm crazy.Owner report · Electronic Stability Control (Esc) · Mar 2019
Takata recall this recall has been open for almost 3 years. Gm has not addressed it and people are dying. Why hasn't the NHTSA or some other regulatory agency held gm accountable? I understand that gm has applied and been denied 2 times so far to get out of addressing this recall? They are waiting on a denial for the 3rd application? I am outraged that gm has been allowed to get away with this wanted disregard for safety.Owner report · Air Bags · Feb 2019

Takata inflators : I received a letter sating that my vehicle airbag is under recall and I should contact my local dealership to have them replace them free of charge. I have called them twice since I got the notice and they have told me that I need to contact gmc to find out who the solution to the problem is because as of right now they cannot offer me anything to fix the issue.Owner report · Air Bags · Nov 2017
Takata recall-I have contacted our local gmc dealer to have the airbags fixed for this recall and I have been told there are no parts to fix this potentially fatal issue and they have no idea when they will get the parts...totally unacceptable. I want this remedied immediately.Owner report · Air Bags · Nov 2017
Just brought to my attention the recall on the gmc silverados. I have been having the same issue on my yukon denali. I purchased a car in december of 2016. And I've had at least eight or more incidents. Of the car either not starting or shutting off for 3 to 5 seconds at about a 15 mile an hour turn. I feel as though my vehicle could be affected the same way as these are. I would like a remedy to why my car shuts off during a low-rpm turn. When the car comes back on all gauge lights come on for a brief second. And the thermostat goes up a little bit because the fan had shut off for a minor second.Owner report · Steering · Apr 2017
Cpsc:I have a 2008 gmc yukon denali with 80k miles. All 4 exterior door handles are broken because of a manufacturers defect which has been recalled in previous years. The doors will close and lock the passengers in the car on occasion and could cause a serious safety hazard in an emergency. Also the interior of each door handle is coated with a "chrome" surface covering that peels back and has incredibly sharp edges which have cut all 5 of my family members, this is also a known issue with denali's and has been recalled in the past. *bfOwner report · Unknown Or Other · Feb 2017
My bridgestone dueler h/l alenza tires are extremely dry rotted. So bad that the sidewall cracked bad enough to leak air. Tires still have lots of tread left.Owner report · Wheels · Nov 2016
Tl* the contact owns a 2008 gmc yukon denali. While driving approximately 30 mph, the vehicle idled, but failed to accelerate. The contact had to pull over to the side of the road and shut the engine off. After a few minutes, the vehicle restarted and was driven home. The vehicle was towed to the dealer where it was diagnosed that the transmission needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 102,000.Owner report · Power Train · Aug 2016
