Filled tank with diesel and truck wouldn't turn back on. We were next to a jiffy lube and they were able to run a scan and it said there was a broken fuel module. There's only around 60,000 miles on it, it's 4 years old, and left my son and I stranded.Owner report · Fuel/Propulsion System · Jun 2026
The same thing that happenes to the grill mold in recall N242490120 happened to my vehicle with the hood vent ornament. For reference, the Part number is 84802205/85057002. I was driving on the highway to work and it flew off which caused it to scrape my hood and chip my windshield.Owner report · Structure · Apr 2026
Was driving down the highway and was approaching a red light. As I was slowing down my transmission down shifted hard and my rear wheels briefly locked up and my truck went in to reduced power Took to dealership only to find out the valve body failed and my truck wasn't coveredOwner report · Power Train · Feb 2026

Odometer Fraud. The contact purchased a 2022 GMC Sierra 2500. It was discovered that there was a mileage discrepancy. The vehicle was a dealer sale. At the time of purchase, the vehicle mileage was 92,000, and at the time of registration, it was discovered that the mileage was 98,325. The Carfax report was not available at the time of purchase. The mileage discrepancy was later identified through the vehicle manufacturer's Mobile App.Owner report · Electrical System · Dec 2025
After driving my truck, once I park and turn the truck off it will not shut down electronically due to an error on the dash display that reads "shift to park". Sometimes I have to mess with the gear shifter when the truck is in park to get it to register that it is parked and shut down completely. It can take up to 15 minutes sometimes to shut down.Owner report · Electrical System · Nov 2025
I am receiving a "Shift to Park" warning intermittently when parking my truck. The truck is in park, but the transmission does not recognize this and flashes the warning on the dash and chimes. While this is happening, I cannot lock the vehicle, and the battery is being drained. I have read that this is a known issue with other GMC models as well. I just was given a $1074 bill to replace the transmission control with park sensor.Owner report · Power Train · Aug 2025
After placing the vehicle in park and try to turn it off, I receive a message saying "Shift to Park". The engine is off and in park, but the vehicle doesn't recognize it as being in park so all of the electrical stays on. I started complaining about this to the dealerships before my warranty was up but they kept giving me the run around avoiding the fix and now that the warranty is expired they want to help me for a ridiculous fee. This issue happens randomly at least one day a week.Owner report · Electrical System · Aug 2025
LT295/60 R20. The tread on the tire separated and a 1"x2" chunk of it fell off in the middle of the tread. Other smaller pieces of tread also fell off. Both front tires have subsequently been replaced. Smaller chunks are now missing from rear tires.Owner report · Tires · Jul 2025
My booster is leaking into the floor. I took it to the dealer and they said it was the booster and it needs to be replaced. This could make the truck lose its brakes and run into something or someone.Owner report · Steering · Jul 2025
