“my 2007.5 GMC Duramax has been parked for 1 month, had to barrow a truck to go to work, just not willing to pay the 1600-4500 dollars that suppliers or private sellers are asking for the TCM, tried a private seller on EBAY and it turned out to be a scam, local Dealership has no clue on ETA, I use my truck 6 days out of the week and now sitting not being moved may cause other issue when I do finally get it going again, the problem with my durumax is the TCM Transmission Control Module, I was already at home when issue started.”Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Aug 2023

“Brake lines failed on my 2007 gmc 2500 and my 2007 gmc 1500. It appears to be a common problem with gmc vehicles from 2003 to 2009. Why wasn't these vehicles recalled for this. I was told that gmc was offering a discounted price for failed brake lines, but the dealer charged me full price. $1,667.00. The discounted price was supposed to be $500.00.”Owner report · Service Brakes · Mar 2017
“Takata recall dealer sent recall letter in 2015 went to dealer 3 times over time, no parts available. Called gmc gave them same info. There answer this message is being recorded explained went to dealer no parts there reply to me bottom line, do not have any passengers in vehicle or replace parts at my expense. This is unexceptable they have parts for new vehicles being built this is unacceptable for every new car built they should replace one on recall or stop production on new vehicles. Cheaper to pay death of person than fix problem. Thank you”Owner report · Air Bags · Jan 2017
