“1999 gmc pickup had a crack in the rear frame. *ts the frame was broken just behind the rear axle. The consumer contacted the manufacturer who told him to take the vehicle back to the dealer for a factory rep to inspect it. “Brakes malfunctioned on vehicle when applied.*mr the brakes failed as the driver was pulling into a parking space. As a result the vehicle hit the building causing $2500 in damage to the truck. The vehicle was taken to the dealer for inspection and the mechanic determined that the control sensors needed to be replaced. “While driving at 65 mph consumer almost collided with another vehicle. During this near collision a plastic seat retainer slide mechanism broke. This caused the seat to slide up until the consumer was on the dashboard. Manufacturer and dealer were notified of the problem. “ABS pump keeps running had to remove fuse to keep battery from running down I have a 1999 gmc picjup truck. Repair of this pump is $1000.00 most people are pulling the fuse and running without ABS brakes. But the brake light is on all the time so you don't know when your brakes give out. “Consumer stated while driving and without warning the fuel tank cracked and caused fuel to leak. Dealer notified. *nlm there was a leakage, it was discovered that the tank collapsed. “The accelerator sticks. Must put vehicle in park, or neutral, and "pop" the accelerator to release it to working order. The vehicle belonged to my father, and I inherited it after he died in august 2002. CERTAIN E SPEED RACING COMBINATION LAMPS SOLD AS REPLACEMENT EQUIPMENT FOR USE ON CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES LISTED ABOVE. SOME COMBINATION LAMPS THAT ARE NOT EQUIPPED WITH AMBER SIDE REFLECTORS FAIL TO CONFORM TO FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 108, LAMPS, REFLECTIVE DEVICES, AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT.
Remedy: E SPEED RACING WILL NOTIFY OWNERS AND OFFER TO REPURCHASE THE LAMPS. THE RECALL BEGAN MAY 10, 2006. OWNERS MAY CONTACT E SPEED RACING 909-923-3636.
