We sold a customer some 35-13.50-20 mickey thompson atz tires back in 2007 customer brought back the tires in may of 2010 for cracking around the sidewall and lugs contacted mickey thompson about this problem and that received a rga but was not told where to send them called repeatedly but with no answer. This same tire was recalled in 2006 for having the exact same problem was told that the customer would have to pay to ship them back to mickey and if they were in fact defective they would issue a prorated warranty on them if not we would have to pay to ship them back also I do have photos of the cracking all four tire are doing the exact same thing. *trOwner report · Tires · May 2010
Tl*- the contact has a 1999 ford f-350 and noticed that the oil tank was leaking. While driving the vehicle was stalling out on the road. When the vehicle was repaired the contact found out that ford was spraying the inner-liner of the tank causing it to mix with the fuel and clog the filters. The contact has replaced the filter twice since 10-26-06. The contact stated that the manufacturer would not reimburse her for the parts that she replaced, but they would replace the part if needed. While consumer was driving on the highway tread separated from right rear tire. Consumer had not struck anything, and tire was still inflated. He was able to pull to the side, and examined what was left of the tire. He realized that all the tread was gone but sidewall was still intact. It was a wide track baja a/s, lt245/75r16.*ak the road was clear and dry. Ten minutes prior to the failure, the consumer felt vibration shuddering throughout the vehicle. When consumer drives he smells diesel fumes. Headlight and interior lights hesitate when they are first turned on. Transmission doesn't shift correctly. Driveline has too much slack. Doors rattle. Rubber trim around back door is coming off. Heater switch is bad. Loud exhaust leak after starting the truck in the morning. ON CERTAIN TRUCKS EQUIPPED WITH SPEED CONTROL, GASOLINE OR NATURAL GAS ENGINES, THE SPEED CONTROL DEACTIVATION SWITCH MAY OVERHEAT.

Remedy: DEALERS WILL INSTALL A FUSED WIRING HARNESS INTO THE SPEED CONTROL SYSTEM FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON AUGUST 7, 2006. OWNERS MAY CONTACT FORD AT 1-866-436-7332. (NOTE: ALSO SEE RECALLS 05V017 AND 05V388)
