“My 1995 f350 7.3 power stroke will without warning stall. This has happened while idling or driving. Engine can be restarted as though nothing had happened, it may do it again in 1 mile or 10 miles. There is no history of overheating or any related issues that may cause this problem. As of today we are not driving the vehicle as seems too dangerous to drive. Is this related at all to the cam sensor unit or something else in the engine? *tr”Owner report · Engine And Engine Cooling · Aug 2009

“On or about 6-26-06 we were getting off highway and make a turn right after. Coasted around corner and 1995 f-350 7.3 diesel truck died. Was not time to move off the road. Truck was toed to shop and was the camshaft sensor. I know recall doesn't cover 1995, but it should, be looked into, as there are plenty older 7.3 on the road. *tr”Owner report · Engine And Engine Cooling · Jun 2006
