I'm complaining that the recall for our vehicle, a software update, has now been over a year with no remedy. No parts need to be made, just a software update.Owner report · Fuel/Propulsion System · Jul 2026
LED strip for the headlight assembly burned out. No known repair other than to replace the whole headlight assembly for $2500. This is a common issue with a poor design from ford and can cause visibility and safety issues with the vehicle. The dealership at beach ford in myrtle beach, sc swapped LED modules to make sure it wasn't a programming or module issue, the symptom did not change headlights.Owner report · Exterior Lighting · Jul 2026

Immediately after starting the truck, I hear a loud popping noise coming from the radio. It sounds like an alarm noise for several seconds. I always turn the volume to 0, but I don't know if that's what shuts off the sound, or if it stops on it's own. The only way to clear the error with the radio, is to change the source from the current setting to a different source. ( FM to AM or Sirius ). This has happened multiple times. I've had the vehicle serviced by ford and received OTA updates that address this problem. One software update specifically said it addressed radio distortion issues, the other said that it would correct certain SYNC issues when starting the vehicle.Owner report · Electrical System · Jul 2026

The ac will quit on long trips and if I have fogged windows the windshield will not defog. This has happened on several occasions. Ford knows about this and has sent out a technical software update but wants customers to pay for this tps 242212.. On some vehicles the sensor is on the wrong place and ford has the mechanic to put a spacer in there. This cost $2000-$3000. Ford should take ownership and pay for the fixes.
