Computed from 10 owner complaints filed with NHTSA for this exact model year.
“Today, while driving on the Causeway in New Orleans, the longest bridge in the world, my panoramic sunroof exploded at 70 mph and almost caused me to wreck my car. The exact same thing happened to my previous expedition. It was a 2024 limited trim and both instances are very disturbing and have really affected me negatively. I almost wrecked the car both times. Something has to be done about these panoramic sunroofs.”Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Sep 2026
“The empty passenger sea, steering wheel, center console and sun visor has aggressive shake at speeds over 35MPH. Dealer did the road force balance but that didn't fix it, it's something in drivertaina nd they are refusing to fix it. Vehicle seems unsafe to derive”Owner report · Steering,Wheels,Seats · Jun 2026
“The contact owns a 2026 Ford Expedition MAX. The contact stated that while driving at 70 MPH or higher speeds, the steering wheel shuddered due to a front suspension issue. The contact completed some research online and learned that it was a known failure associated with 2025 - 2026 model years. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not informed of the failure. The failure mileage was 800.”Owner report · Steering,Suspension · Jun 2026

“At highway speeds there is a vibration. Had at the dealership for road test, balance, and alignment. Did not fix the problem. Discovered that many more are having the same issue.”Owner report · Wheels,Unknown Or Other · Apr 2026
“With speeds in excess of 70 MPH, the car have a violent shake. The shake gets worse as you approach 80 MPH. This is in both the 2025 and 2026 Ford Expedition models. This put drivers at risk, as they must keep control of the car at all times on the highway if they are in excess of 70 MPH. The car has already been inspected by Ford and they did a road balance test and replaced one tire. The car still shakes at high speeds. Ford is looking to bring my car in a 2nd time to look at the issue again. No warning lights came on. This appears to be a driving issue not related to anything that would come up electronically.”Owner report · Steering,Vehicle Speed Control,Wheels · Mar 2026
“Steering wheel clicking when rotating, LOUD whirring/humming noise directly under where the sliding console is located, noise reverberates all throughout the cab and is worse at 65mph”Owner report · Steering,Unknown Or Other · Mar 2026
