“I am a mechanic at Huron Valley Ambulance. Ford has a recall that covers some of our Ambulances. Recall NO: 22S08 for the power steering lines coming apart. I have been having issues with the hoses coming apart even after the recall has been performed. The Ford dealer will not cover this repair after the recall has been done. This is a safety issue as both the steering and braking are effected. It is also time consuming and expensive to repair. “The contact owns a 2022 Ford E-450. The contact stated while driving 60 MPH, the steering wheel felt loose, and the vehicle was difficult to control. The check engine warning light was illuminated. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the dealer stated no failure was found, but the failure persisted. The vehicle was taken back to the dealer and the vehicle was repaired. The contact was unsure what was repairs were made or what parts were replaced. The failure persisted. The manufacturer was not contacted. The dealer was made aware of the issue. The contact stated that the manufacturer had exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact had not experienced a failure. “I received a recall notice on this vehicle from Ford. Ford Recall 22S08 and NHTSA recall 22V089. Ford does not seem to be aware of this recall nor do you. Recalls - 3 campaigns
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2022 E-350 and E-450 vehicles equipped with dual rear wheels. An inadequate connection between the power steering pressure line and the brake hydroboost unit may result in a sudden loss of power steering fluid.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the power steering pressure line and the hydroboost jumper line, free of charge. Vehicles in this recall were previously recalled under 22V-089 and owners will need to have the new remedy completed even if their vehicle was remedied under the prior recall. Owner notification letters were mailed on June 21, 2024. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 24S07.
Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2021-2022 E-350 and E-450 vehicles equipped with dual rear wheels. An inadequate connection between the power steering pressure line and the brake Hydroboost unit may result in a sudden loss of power steering fluid.

Ford Motor Company (Ford) is recalling certain 2022-2023 E-350, E-450, and 2021-2022 F-59 vehicles. The paint along the weld seam of the fuel tank may peel and lead to corrosion of the exposed metal, which can result in a fuel leak.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect the fuel tank and replace, if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on April 14, 2023. Owners may contact Ford customer service at 1-866-436-7332. Ford's number for this recall is 22S76.
