I have had the vehicle and parts to two different transmission shops and both have told me that this never should have happened. Both the drum and shaft of the torque converter have stripped. THE DUAL FUEL TANK SELECTOR VALVE MAY MALFUNCTION AND CAUSE AN OVERFILL CONDITION IN ONE OF THE FUEL TANKS, RESULTING IN AN OVERFLOW OF FUEL PAST THE FILLER CAP.

Remedy: REPLACE THE DUAL FUEL TANK SELECTOR VALVE.
