While turning on to my street the three bolts holding the gear box to the frame sheared off causing loss of control of the vehicle. *trOwner report · Steering · Jul 2013
The filler neck leaks gas at the rubber hose. Every time you add gas, does not have to be full tank. We were given this vehicle with the leak. Cannot afford to have fixed by mechanic, we have a hose clamp around the rubber to hold it on. The actual metal filler section in rotten rusted away. One time I parked at a gas station and they threatened to call police to have me towed, I never heard of the gas line leaking like this but see alot alot of similar complaints on this year range of e150s. *trOwner report · Fuel System, Gasoline · Aug 2010

1995 ford e150 steering gearbox bolts sheared off from frame causing total steering failure, vehicle had to be towed, complete loss of steering, extremely dangerous, would have been a huge wreck if failure happened moments earlier. *trOwner report · Steering · Aug 2010
Dt*: the contact stated after parking the vehicle and entering a store, the contact was notified by the police that there was smoke coming from the vehicle. When the hood was opened there was evidence of a fire in the engine compartment. A police report was taken. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic shop, where the problem was identified as a faulty vehicle speed control switch, as described in the recall letter # 06v286000, vehicle speed control, which the contact had just received. The part was replaced, but the brake and running lights failed to illuminate and the cruise control did not function. The manufacturer was notified. The exhaust gas recirculation (egr) tube broke at the flexible section of the tube on my 1995 ford e-150 van with a 5.8l engine. The broken egr tube causes exhaust to leak. Ford currently has a similar recall on 1993 -1997 super duty trucks, NHTSA recall #97v209 (ford campaign #97s92). *jbOwner report · Engine And Engine Cooling · Jun 2006
Dt: contact stated the cruise control switch on the master cylinder melted. A fuse blew out, and the vehicle would not come out of park. This was how they came to notice the burned switch. This happened on 8-16-05. The vehicle is a 1995 ford e- 150 club wagon. There were no problems prior to this. Neither the dealer nor ford have been notified. There was no fire. *akOwner report · Vehicle Speed Control · Aug 2005

The vehicle caught fire while parked in the driveway. The consumer noticed some smoke and burning odor coming from the vehicle. The consumer stated, the fire went out by itself. The cause of the problem has not been determined. The dealer and the manufacturer were not notified. *jbOwner report · Engine And Engine Cooling · Dec 2004
The fuel overflow hose ford part # f7u79170aa has rotted and cracked approximately 1.5'' long just above the clamp that secures it to the fuel tank. After refueling, the gas fumes are quite strong and would leave a puddle of fuel under vehicle. Would also loose fuel when driving when tank was over 3/4 full. Fuel would drip down from all sides of fuel tank. The possibility of fuel blowing back onto the hot exhaust and brakes is extremely high. I am holding onto the defective fuel overflow hose if anyone would like to see it. *jbOwner report · Fuel System, Gasoline · Oct 2003
