Computed from 47 owner complaints filed with NHTSA for this exact model year.
“Bronco hard top is beginning to warp really bad and delaminate. Classic problem happening with there and ford still refuses to come up with a real solution. Every day the warping gets worse and I'm just waiting for it to get bad enough so I can take it in and ford actually do something about it. The warping and delaminating also impacts the seals of the hardtop panels on the car. The top also rattles really bad. Absolutely crazy for an expensive car. It's very obvious that climate and humidity have the largest impact on this issue and STILL they do nothing about it.”Owner report · Structure · Jun 2026

“Car would shut off shortly after using remote start on key fob then display a warning on digital instrument cluster for two days now. It would also show my speed going back and forth from 0 to 1mph while parked.”Owner report · Engine · Jun 2026
“The Pre-Collision Assist false-triggers on turns daily, flashing the red collision warning and actively applying autonomous emergency braking without any obstruction present. This phantom braking is a severe safety hazard. The vehicle has been serviced before for this issue - and is going back to the shop next week (for the same issue).”Owner report · Forward Collision Avoidance · Jun 2026
“Its becoming more frequent and a huge safety issue. When you're driving the car, it feels like the emergency parking brake automatically engages. And when you push the brake pedal, it almost feels like it's dead, meaning there's no pressure back against your foot, which is really unusual for this vehicle, period. You don't necessarily lose control of the car, but you certainly don't have complete control of the braking system, period. Then you are in a period of time to get off the road safely and turn the vehicle off and restart it. Then the system seems to correct itself, and you can drive away. But I'm concerned about this from a safety perspective,”Owner report · Service Brakes · May 2026
“On [XXX] at [XXX] PM I was driving westbound on [XXX] at [XXX] while traveling through the intersection, my vehicle started shaking, lost acceleration, and nearly caused me to have a collision. My vehicles check engine light began flashing, and I was able to safely exit the highway. On May 20, 2026, Crouse Ford diagnosed a "cylinder #6", however attributed the event as "an anomaly", and no corrective action was taken despite the seriousness of the safety concerns. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)”Owner report · Engine · May 2026

“This vehicle had an open safety recall at the time the dealership sold it to me. The recall existed before the sale and the dealership knew or should have known about it. The dealer submitted loan paperwork and accepted funding but never delivered the vehicle to me. I was not informed of the open recall before signing. This is a safety and compliance issue involving a dealer selling a vehicle with an unrepaired recall”Owner report · Electrical System · Mar 2026
