Please reference nthsa case #10468869 and ford case#1670332142 for futher information on this problem.”Owner report · Vehicle Speed Control · Jul 2017

“The car surges when I take it out of park (reverse or drive). It also surges when slowing down or when I have the brakes on. A little old asian lady cussed me out one day because she was behind my car when I put it in reverse and it surged. I didn't hit her but it really scarred the heck out of her. It happens all the time. 154,000 miles”Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Jul 2016
“After the last stunt of getting injured I was reluctant to take the car out, however I had a vet emergency with my pet which I have documents to prove appointment. The office is less then 5 miles away, as soon as I came to a stop assign the car accelerated into oncoming traffic then stahlled today??? This car is dangerous!!!!!!!!!!!! Im going to wind up getting killed in this car, its my only car, I purchased it under good faith, its just getting worse and worse? Ford refuses to contact me back!!!!!!!!!!”Owner report · Engine · Jun 2016
“Car starts surging when stopped at a light or when idle. Rpm's jump up and down to one and below. If foot is not on the brake all the way car wants to lunge forward. Even when letting off the brake to go forward you have to be careful that the car in front is far enough away. Under previous recall ford cleaned the throttle body and it did not change a thing. This has been going on since july 2015.”Owner report · Power Train · May 2016
“The instrument controls go completely dead, so no knowledge of speed, coolant temperature, gas capacity. The passenger air bag deactivates, whether there is a passenger there or not. The rear back up lights go on permanently. Happens at any speed and intermittently flickers back on and off. Can happen when the car is moving, or sitting at a stop. No consistency on when it happens and when it resumes.”Owner report · Air Bags · Dec 2015
