“Car is having a shift to park error message. I am unable to leave the car in parked position without restarting the vechicle several times and moving shifter to Park, Nuetral and Reverse Several times. There shows no recalls on my car. However this has to be a saftey issue covered under warranty. I transport my children in this car and dont want any incidents with the car rolling away hurting us or others. I need help resolving this issue.”Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Jun 2026

“My front seat belt will not buckle at times, has happened multiple times. When I stop and go to park it will say shift to park”Owner report · Seat Belts · May 2026
“After turning the car on, engaging reverse, and then retuning back to park (driver stepped out of vehicle once in park) the vehicle reversed 60 feet on its on through a parking lot with 2 children inside of the car (disengaged from park on its own while vehicle was running). The vehicle was ultimately stopped by a tree with damage to the tailgate and rear. The gear shift selector remained in park for the entire incident. A claim was filed with GM and the Traverse was initially labeled as a "intermittent failure" in my May 2026 claim interview. Post GM inspection, the vehicle is now deemed "operational" (no repairs from GM) and being returned to my family as of July 2026.”Owner report · Electrical System · May 2026

The vehicle was towed to the dealer to be diagnosed, and it was determined that the engine needed to be replaced. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact stated that the vehicle was consuming an excessive amount of oil. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure and opened a case, and stated that fifty percent of the cost of repair would be covered. The approximate failure mileage was 84,000.”Owner report · Engine · Mar 2026
“I am reporting a dangerous failure of the fuel supply control module in my vehicle, which caused the engine to stall and cut off during acceleration while driving in heavy, 45-60 mph traffic. While I was able to have the issue diagnosed and repaired by Newman's Auto-with an invoice available-I believe this 44,000-mile vehicle experienced a premature failure. Given that this component is currently recalled on similar Chevrolet SUVs and trucks, I believe this model should be included in the recall. I can be reached at [XXX] or [XXX] for further information. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)”Owner report · Engine · Mar 2026
“Puttering can be heard. Manifold has been replaced already. Reverberation through steering wheel and pedal can be felt when idling. Car has shuddered when driving 40+ in the past but dealership downplayed any possible issues. There is an issue with something in this vehicle whether it's the torque converter or another part up or downstream.”Owner report · Engine · Mar 2026
“When returning home I had trouble turning off the vehicle. I was getting error to shift to park when it was already in park. Had to cycle multiple times before it registered it was in park. Less than 60k miles but does not appear as a recall and does not appear to be under warranty.”Owner report · Electrical System · Jan 2026
“The transmission shifting fails or malfunctions and this vehicle is available for inspection. The car is still on although the engine has been disengaged. The car could possibly shift out of gear and move. Yes, the problem has been confirmed. The "shift to park" message appears”Owner report · Power Train · Jan 2026
