“I went to start the blazer to go to work. Turned the key and all electrical components went died and key stuck in the ignition. Had the blazer taken to my mechanic and they installed a new battery, two hours later the vehicle was died again. The mechanic spent the next three day trying to trace the draw that was killing the electrical system. All components checked fine. No codes. The door and window systems would not operate at all after failure. The fuel system built up to much pressure and blow out a line. The vehicle is inoperable and being sent to a local gm dealer service department for expensive diagnostics. *tr”Owner report · Electrical System · Feb 2008
“2000 chevy trailblazer had transmission failure with only 71,000 miles. Dealer claimed that it was a "natural thing" for these transmissions to fail. Gm customer service refused to assist even though hundreds of these type complaints have been filed. An immediate recall should be imposed on chevrolet for distributing faulty transmissions that fail even before maintenance is due. I would not be surprised to see a class action lawsuit over this due to the high number of transmission failures. Someone will eventually get severely hurt or even killed because there is no warning before the transmission breaks. *jb”Owner report · Power Train · Jan 2007
“Dt*: the contact stated while turning at various speeds there was a loud popping noise from the front end. The vehicle was seen by a dealer, and the front lower and upper control arms, as well as the lower/ upper ball joints were replaced. Afterwards, the problem persisted and the vehicle was taken to an independent repair shop. The mechanic determined the same parts needed to be replaced again. The ball joints were replaced 5 times and need to be replaced again. The problem persisted right after repairs have been done.*ak”Owner report · Suspension · Mar 2006
