“Dmv las vegas has salvaged my truck in california. My truck was bought 3 plus years ago. I have a clean title. Nevada has refused to retag my truck and said it was unsafe to drive. The truth is they id theft me and made the error on my truck that is in great shape it drives and handles great. I have changed several parts. This is just maintence and I have insppected it and find it to be fraud per certian people in dmv but the error is in one persons hands to block me from driving it. My friends wonder how much more I can take from all the fraud I have dealth with and now its my truck”Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Mar 2021

“The top hinge of the driverside door is worn allowing air and rain to enter the cabin. The small plastic sleeve in the top hinge appears to be broken or worn excessively.”Owner report · Structure · Dec 2018
“The driver's seat has not been working properly for several months. The seat will not stay locked in place and this has created a dangerous situation, especially in intersections, when the truck has been in motion. Now that this has happened several times, I've been especially careful & prepared to move the seat back forward so I can again reach the pedals. My solution for the time being - placing a wooden 2x4 piece behind the seat so it will stay fixed. It's working, but it is very inconvenient getting into or out of the seat. Will try to repair or take to a shop if a recall is not mandated.”Owner report · Seats · Mar 2018
“Tl* the contact owns a 2000 chevrolet s10. While driving various speeds, the brake warning indicator illuminated. Also, the vehicle failed to stop when the brake pedal was depressed to the floorboard. The failure recurred. The vehicle was taken to an independent mechanic where it was diagnosed that there was oil leaking between the brake hose and front passenger wheel. The technician replaced the washer for the brake hose, but the failure recurred. The VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 99v220000 (service brakes, hydraulic). The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 131,000.”Owner report · Service Brakes · Mar 2017
“The brake lines burst while driving down the road under normal driving conditions and the brakes failed resulting in no braking power. Inspection by a mechanic determined that the brake lines had suddenly failed during braking and the fluid had drained out resulting in an immediate loss of braking power during my braking. Was driving at about 30 mph on a city street when I started to brake and they failed, was able to stop without injury due to manual transmission engine braking and a very bad parking brake.”Owner report · Service Brakes · Feb 2017
“Tl* the contact owns a 2000 chevrolet s10. While driving 60 mph over a patch of ice, the contact lost control of the vehicle. The contact crashed into a street sign and pole along the highway. The air bags failed to deploy. A police report was not filed. The contact sustained injuries to the back, neck, left shoulder, and chest, which required medical attention. The contact was able to drive to her residence. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 107,000.”Owner report · Air Bags · Feb 2017
“Center-vehicle mounted rear brake light melted its plastic housing which melted the wiring and mounts used to power the two lightbulbs in the center brake light, resulting in no functioning center brake light. This also made the interior light fall out of the roof as it is attached to the same plastic housing. Only apparent fix is to replace the entire old melted center brake light housing with a new one. Occurred under normal use with manufacturer recommended light bulbs in use.”Owner report · Exterior Lighting · Feb 2017
“Alternator failed without warning while driving on a local highway at 45 mph. Vehicle remained operational without any lights, signals, gauges or speedometer until I came to a complete stop at a traffic signal where the engine misfired and died even while revving. Vehicle was left stranded at a 6 lane intersection without any hazard warning lights, indicators or other lights to warn oncoming vehicles that I was not moving resulting in may near incidents.”Owner report · Electrical System · Nov 2016
