“Passenger side rear wheel does not line up with front wheel. Passenger side rear wheel is inward approximately 1 to 2 inches. Drivers side rear wheel line up perfectly with the front drivers side wheel looking from front to back and vice versa. “Tl* the contact owns a 1995 chevrolet s10. While driving 25 mph, the brakes failed to respond and the vehicle crashed into a tree. The anti lock brake system warning light illuminated prior to the failure and the air bags failed to deploy. A police report was filed. There were no injuries. The vehicle was towed to an independent mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 69,000. “Tl* the contact owns a 1995 chevrolet s10. While driving at approximately 15 to 20 mph, the contact depressed the brake pedal but to no avail. The brakes would not engage and the contact depressed the brake pedal several times before the vehicle came to a stop. The contact stated the failure would occur intermittently on several occasions. The vehicle had not yet been taken to the dealer to be diagnosed. The manufacturer was not contacted. “Tl*the contact owns a 1995 chevrolet s10. While driving 55 mph in the rain, the windshield wipers completely stopped. There was a recall on the windshield wipers; however, the vehicle was not included in NHTSA campaign id number 98v150001 (visibility:windshield wiper/washer). The contact has to purchase the windshield wipers and pulse module and repaired it himself. The failure mileage was 160,000. “While driving, gasoline fumes can be smelled. We have had this problem since we purchased this vehicle. I have a 1995 chevrolet blazer s10. I know that there are several recalls for the fuel system/tank. Truck turns off occasionally. Before realizing the recalls, I have sent alot of time and money having mechanics look at it. “The frame rail on our 1995 chevrolet blazer s-10 rusted through and broke at the rear suspension forward spring shackle, which was welded onto the frame at the factory. Upon further inspection the entire frame, and the cross members rusted to near nothing, and needed to be replaced. There was no rust on the body, sides or under side. This car had 90,000 miles on it, and was several thousand miles from being mechanically spent. $4500 estimate of repairs. *ak”Owner report · Structure · Apr 2005
“During a frontal crash the passenger seat belt faild to lock. Passenger was thrown forward in fully extended seatbelt. Passenger sustained facial injuries from hitting the dashboard. “While braking the brakes of the consumer's 1995 chevrolet s10 locked up and caused the vehicle to slide into a steel post. The consumer had no control over the vehicle. *nm the consumer sustained a concussion as a result of the accident. FAN BLADE RIVET BREAKAGE CAN OCCUR CAUSING THE FAN BLADE TO SEPARATE FROM THE SPIDER.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL INSPECT AND REPLACE, IF NECESSARY, THE FAN WITH A NEWER FAN HAVING THICKER-HEADED RIVETS.
THE INTERMEDIATE STEERING SHAFT LOOSENS AT THE STEERING SHAFT TO STEERING GEAR COUPLING. WITH THIS LOOSENESS, THE YOKE PINCH BOLT CAN WEAR ON THE SPLINES OF THE SHAFT UNTIL THERE IS NO LONGER AN INTERFERENCE BETWEEN THE SPLINES AND THE BOLT.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL RETORQUE THE UPPER AND LOWER BOLTS TO CORRECT SPECIFICATIONS.
DOPE, INC. IS RECALLING 42,540 COMBINATION CORNER AND BUMPER LAMP ASSEMBLIES OF VARIOUS PART NUMBERS SOLD FOR USE AS AFTERMARKET EQUIPMENT FOR VARIOUS PASSENGER VEHICLES. THESE HEADLAMPS FAIL TO CONFORM TO THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 108, "LAMPS, REFLECTIVE DEVICES, AND ASSOCIATED EQUIPMENT." THESE LAMPS DO NOT CONTAIN THE REQUIRED AMBER SIDE REFLECTORS.
Remedy: DOPE, INC. WILL NOTIFY OWNERS AND OFFER A FULL REFUND FOR THE NONCOMPLIANT COMBINATION LAMPS. THE SAFETY RECALL BEGAN ON JULY 28, 2009. OWNERS MAY CONTACT DOPE, INC. AT 1-626-272-1798.
CERTAIN DELPHI FUEL PRESSURE REGULATORS, P/NOS. FP10020-11B1, FP10026-11B1, AND FP10027-11B1, SOLD AFTER JANUARY 9, 2007, AS AFTERMARKET EQUIPMENT FOR VARIOUS PASSENGER VEHICLES LISTED ABOVE. THE UNIVERSAL PRESSURE REGULATORS (UPR) WERE PRODUCED WITHOUT AN O'RING AND RETAINER.
Remedy: DELPHI WILL NOTIFY OWNERS AND REPLACE THE UPR FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON APRIL 23, 2007. OWNERS CAN CONTACT DELPHI AT 877-411-8770.
VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: EXTENDED CAB PICKUP TRUCKS EQUIPPED WITH 60/40 FRONT BENCH SEATS AND EXTENDED CAB PICKUP TRUCKS AND 2-DOOR UTILITY VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH MANUAL LOCKING RECLINER BUCKET SEATS. THE OUTBOARD SAFETY BELT WEBBING ON THE DRIVER'S AND/OR PASSENGER'S SEAT CAN SEPARATE DURING A FRONTAL IMPACT.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL INSTALL A PROTECTIVE COVER OVER THE RECLINER MECHANISM.

Remedy: DEALERS WILL MODIFY THE COMPUTER PROGRAM WHICH OPERATES THE ABS UNIT ON SOME VEHICLES, OR REPLACE THE COMPUTER ON OTHERS TO IMPROVE THE PERFORMANCE OF THE ABS ON THESE SURFACES.
VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: CERTAIN 4-WHEEL DRIVE PICKUP TRUCKS AND SPORT UTILITY VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH ABS (ANTILOCK BRAKING SYSTEM) MANUFACTURED FROM SEPTEMBER 1989 THROUGH AUGUST 1996. UNDER CERTAIN DRIVING CONDITIONS THE SWITCH WHICH SIGNALS THE ABS SYSTEM WHETHER THE VEHICLE IS IN 2-WHEEL OR 4-WHEEL DRIVE CAN MALFUNCTION CAUSING INCREASED STOPPING DISTANCES DURING ABS STOPS WHILE IN THE TWO-WHEEL DRIVE MODE.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE OR REPAIR THE 4-WHEEL/2-WHEEL DRIVE SWITCH.
VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: LIGHT DUTY PICKUP TRUCKS AND SPORT UTILITY VEHICLES, 2 AND 4-WHEEL DRIVE. SOLDER JOINTS NEAR THE WIRING HARNESS CONNECTOR CAN CRACK CAUSING THE WINDSHIELD WIPERS TO WORK INTERMITTENTLY.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE WIPER MOTOR CIRCUIT BOARD AND COVER.
