I've had a new starter replaced,alternator,radiator,power steering rack,and now it has an intake problem, can someone please help? Tired of spending money. Tl*the contact owns a 1995 chevrolet monte carlo. While driving 40 mph, the contact heard a loud clunking noise coming from the passenger side wheel when making a right turn. The vehicle was taken to a local repair shop and the technician stated that the front ball joints on both sides of the vehicle were failing. The repair would cost $250. Upon further research, the contact discovered NHTSA campaign id number 94v230000 (suspension:front:control arm:lower ball joint). The manufacturer stated that the VIN was unknown; therefore, no compensation would be provided. The failure mileage was 120,000 and current mileage was 125,000.Owner report · Suspension · Dec 2008
Dt: the caller said cruise control will not hold to a certain speed. It kept accelerating even when hitting the brake. It did not hold at any speed. Dealer and manufacturer have not been contacted yet. This happened the last two times when she used the cruise control. The car was sent to a local garage and the defect was found. The serial # of the car is [xxx]is the same problem that the same model car had under recall#94v23000 ball joint mount defect. Chevrolet says they will not fix the car. This was found before any accidents or failure happened. While driving 35 mph the front control arm and lower ball joints broke. As a result, the steering and brakes failed , and the vehicle collided into brick wall. Upon impact, the airbags did not deploy. No injuries reported. *ak *sc *jbOwner report · Suspension · Dec 2004

This is not a safety recall in accordance with the safety act. However, it is deemed a safety improvement campaign by the agency. Fuses blew out of brake lights and turn signals. *mr the intake manifold had been replaced for a second time after only about 40k miles after the first replacement. Transmission failled at 119461 reverse reaction drum out like alot of these models this year cost1945 to repair. Then, at 127892 the park neutral switch out/ anti lock light stays on ,turn signal switch doesn't work , air conditioner doesn't work, front rotors on car have to be special ordered because hubs machined short, and chevrolet has no recalls on any of it. THIS IS NOT A SAFETY RECALL IN ACCORDANCE WITH THE SAFETY ACT. HOWEVER, IT IS DEEMED A SAFETY IMPROVEMENT CAMPAIGN BY THE AGENCY. VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: 1995-1999 CHEVROLET MONTE CARLO Z34 PASSENGER VEHICLES. THE BRAKING PERFORMANCE IN WET WEATHER OR WET ROAD CONDITIONS IS REDUCED MORE THAN A DRIVER WOULD EXPECT.

Remedy: DEALER WILL MODIFY THE FRONT FENDER LINERS TO REMOVE A PORTION OF THE CLOSEOUT PANELS IN THE FRONT WHEEL WELLS AT NO CHARGE TO THE CONSUMER. THIS SERVICE WILL BE AVAILABLE THROUGH AUGUST 2004.

A RIGHT-HAND LOWER CONTROL ARM TAPERED BALL JOINT MOUNTING HOLE WAS INCORRECTLY MACHINED. MOVEMENT WITHIN THIS ATTACHMENT CAN ALLOW THE BALL JOINT STUD TO FATIGUE AND FRACTURE.

Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE RIGHT-HAND LOWER CONTROL ARM AND BALL JOINT STUD ON ALL INVOLVED VEHICLES.

CERTAIN DELPHI FUEL PRESSURE REGULATORS, P/NOS. FP10020-11B1, FP10026-11B1, AND FP10027-11B1, SOLD AFTER JANUARY 9, 2007, AS AFTERMARKET EQUIPMENT FOR VARIOUS PASSENGER VEHICLES LISTED ABOVE. THE UNIVERSAL PRESSURE REGULATORS (UPR) WERE PRODUCED WITHOUT AN O'RING AND RETAINER.

Remedy: DELPHI WILL NOTIFY OWNERS AND REPLACE THE UPR FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON APRIL 23, 2007. OWNERS CAN CONTACT DELPHI AT 877-411-8770.

SOME OF THESE VEHICLES HAVE A STRAINED OR SEPARATED WASHER/WIPER SWITCH POWER FEED WIRE.

Remedy: DEALERS WILL INSPECT AND REPLACE THE OLD DESIGNED WASHER/WIPER SWITCHES WITH A NEWLY DESIGNED SWITCH.
