While driving, the tire came apart on the inside and blew off the complete front panel. The tire lining separated on the inside therefore air got between the linings and blew apart.*trOwner report · Tires · Apr 2009
Well my whole family has owned this truck and it was passed down to me I drive it all the time and I have put it in the ditch due to my window wipers work when they want and on the hwy all the salt builds up and I cant see the road. *trOwner report · Visibility · Feb 2009
Windshield wipers work when they want . Turn them on and they may work ,then stop as you drive, sometimes they go to intermittent mode when they want or stop completely you have to pull off the road and manually pull on them to get them started , this works for a mile or so then they stop again on their own. *trOwner report · Visibility · Sep 2008

Defective wiper operation on chevrolet p/u has caused dangerous situations in rain. This vehicle is on recall for the most part, except for certain ones including mine. I and my family have experienced wiper failure with this vehicle. I will have to fix it myself even though the majority are on recall for the exact same problem. *trOwner report · Visibility · Mar 2008
Dt*: the contact stated while driving 50 mph there was a stopped vehicle on a bridge. The contact hit the stopped vehicle from the rear and the frontal airbags did not deploy. The driver was not wearing a seat belt and sustained injuries. A police report was filed at the scene. The vehicle was towed to a local tow yard. The insurance agency inspected the vehicle and deemed it totaled.Owner report · Air Bags · Mar 2006
Over the past several years we have had problems with the ABS brakes on our 1995 silverado pickup. On a slow stop such as a light or stop sign, it very often will not stop at first. We have had them checked and all the sensors have been replaced, but it seems to be getting more frequent. I have read the recall on the 1999-2002 gm trucks for the ABS salt corrosion problem and it sounds like ours has the same problem. I put the incident date as today, however this is an ongoing problem we have had for several years.*jbOwner report · Service Brakes, Hydraulic · Aug 2005
While returning from nashville tennessee on interstate 65 to my home in somerville alabama the sterring wheel locked up for a second. This is very scarry at 70 mph. It happened a second time and after that all I could think about was it going to happen again and would it break free after a second or would it stay locked up.Owner report · Steering · Aug 2003
The paint on this vehicle does not stick to the primer, causing the paint to flake off and no longer protect the metal from the elements, causing rust to form on the body. This vehicle will have to be repainted to prevent the body from rusting away. *jbOwner report · Structure · May 2002
