1995 Cadillac Seville: problems, recalls and reliability

The vehicle was taken to a local mechanic who performed a diagnostic that advised that the front driver side fuel lines were cracked and leaking fuel. The vehicle was repaired. The fuel lines was replaced. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and advised that the VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign id number: 04v110000 (fuel leakage). The contact purchased the vehicle from a dealer and they did not inform her of any recalls on the vehicle. A representative from the dealer further stated that she would be responsible for all damaged parts and that they would only cover the part referenced in the recall. The contact had to continuously pump the brake pedal in order to stop the vehicle. Afterwards, the ABS and engine lights began illuminating on the instrument panel. The vehicle was driven to a local repair shop for a diagnostic, but the cause of the failure could not be determined. The dealer stated that they would have to keep the vehicle in order to diagnose the failure. The manufacturer has not been notified and the vehicle has not been repaired.
