“Same as in the other two complaints. At one year and approximately 5000 miles I personally did the first oil change. Car was approximately 3 quarts low on oil after draining the oil for the oil change. Filled up to manufacturers recommendation. Two months later and approximately 1000 miles on the car, the car was 1 quart low. GM has a bulletin on this very issue bulletin number 01–0 6–0 1–011N. Started oil consumption test through the dealer. Dealer stated the first remedy is replacement of a valve, followed by another consumption test. Next option is replacing the engine.”Owner report · Engine · Apr 2026
