2008 BMW 335I: problems, recalls and reliability

“High pressure fuel pump failure could be the low pressure fuel pump not so sure got codes p3090 confirmed and p142e pending. The car was in motion when doing a turn the vehicle started to bog out and roughly idle I immediately turned to the right and shut the vehicle off tried to start it about three times in one minute intervals car would bog out and shut off threw me those two codes and a check engine light.”Owner report · Engine · Dec 2019

“The key fobs in the 2008 bmws are glued and the battery soldered into place, making it difficult for owners to replace the batteries in the key fobs when the battery dies. Once the key fob battery dies, the vehicle is inoperable. “Poor fuel injectors cause bad emmision injectors become faulty and cause less fuel being delivered to the combustion chamber. In turn, cause lean burning, high nox emission. Bmw should cover the cost to correct this issue, (changed out the fuel injectors).
