While driving my engine light came on, and I smelled gas. I brought the car to a shop to have it repaired. There is a gas leak from rollover valve on the gas tank. Was recalled in 2009, repaired by the dealer. I have just bought the car used and found that the same problem is occurring again. With some research I found out that the dealer fixed the problem with epoxy.Owner report · Fuel/Propulsion System · Mar 2016

On aug. 09 2014 comming to a stop I applied the brakes. All of a suuden the engine started to accelerate uncontrolable trying to move the car forward. I pressed the brakes as hard as I could and I stoped the car after I hit the car in front when I was able to turn the ignition key off. This sudden unintended acceleration malfunction also happened on jan. 29, 2006 and jan. 30, 2011, also reported to NHTSA at those times. It is a life safety issue and should be addressed a.s.a.p. The manufacturer refuse to take any action. *trOwner report · Engine · Aug 2014

The suspension in front tires keep going out. And when I did the research as to how to fix this problem on an audi it stated that they are familiar with the problem and are of this problem but see any reason as to why they should fix it. Even though the problem existed when the car reached a certain part. *jsOwner report · Suspension · Apr 2012

ON CERTAIN PASSENGER VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH HALOGEN LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS, CERTAIN CONNECTOR PINS IN THE HEADLIGHT SWITCH CONNECTOR COME INTO CONTACT WITH EACH OTHER CAUSING A SHORT CIRCUIT. NOTE: VEHICLES WITH XENON LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS ARE NOT AFFECTED BECAUSE THE CIRCUIT IN THESE VEHICLES CONTAINS A FUSE, WHICH PRECLUDES EXCESSIVE CURRENT FLOW IN THE CASE OF A SHORT CIRCUIT. AUDI S6 AND S6 AVANT VEHICLES ARE ALL EQUIPPED WITH XENON LOW BEAM HEADLIGHTS AND, THEREFORE, ARE NOT LONGER AFFECTED BY THIS RECALL.

Remedy: DEALERS WILL REROUTE THE WIRING HARNESS BY INSTALLING A JUMPER WIRING HARNESS. THE RECALL BEGAN ON DECEMBER 16, 2006. OWNERS MAY CONTACT AUDI AT 1-800-822-2834.
