“Multiple warnings indicating to contact dealer (Lane departure, adaptive cruise control, collision avoidance, etc) then 1 minute later transmission failure and engine failure imminent.... pull over immediately and contact dealer. while driving a few minutes later my center MMI went blank then my electronic dash went blank, transmission went into neutral and the engine died all within a few seconds. Fortunately I was able to coast to a stop and unable to restart the vehicle. towed to dealer who assessed that starter/generator needed to be replaced.”Owner report · Engine · Jan 2023
“"Electrical System Malfunction!" warning popped up, along with "Start/Stop Malfunction!". Car seemed to drive fine. Called dealership to make appointment to drop off car. Drove car another 8 miles, was on the way to the dealership when all components of the vehicle shut down, many warning lights then the vehicle went into limp mode and completely died. I was on a 50mph stretch of the highway and had to pull into the center median/divider for safety because there was no shoulder. Vehicle had to be towed. This appears to be an issue on many 2019+ Audis right now and turns out it is an alternator failure. I'm wondering if it's software related as it is happening on many Audi's right now.”Owner report · Electrical System · Jan 2023
