“Tl*the contact owns a 1994 audi 90 cs. The contact placed all four windows down and they will currently not go back up or down. The windows are stuck in the down position. The dealer stated that the failure was the contact's responsibility. The dealer further stated that the VIN was not included in NHTSA campaign id number 96v017000 (electrical system:ignition:switch). “Consumer called complaining about having problems with the electronic ignition switch. It causes a malfunction with the signal lights and the blinkers as well as the windshield wipers. DEFECTIVE IGNITION SWITCHES WERE IMPROPERLY MANUFACTURED AND CAN CAUSE SOME ELECTRICAL ACCESSORIES TO MALFUNCTION.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE IGNITION SWITCH.
VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: PASSENGER VEHICLES EQUIPPED WITH V6 ENGINES. AN INTERNAL SEAL OF THE FUEL INJECTOR CAN MALFUNCTION, ALLOWING FUEL LEAKAGE IN THE ENGINE COMPARTMENT.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE ALL FUEL INJECTORS.
