“Power steering system malfunction. Warning light went on with no other warning and rendered vehicle undrivable due to no steering function”Owner report · Steering · Dec 2024
“ABS/vsa warning light in instrument panel comes on at start-up, other times when driving, then disappears only to come back on again and later re-appear, disappears, intermittently. Dealer has quoted $2,900 for ABS/vsa module 57110-tl2-s21 to which I said no way. Did quick survey on the internet and found this is a frequent problem on those vehicles, and 2 or 3 model years.. Think NHTSA should look into this as it's safety related and cause accidents and, quite possibly, fatal results.”Owner report · Service Brakes · Feb 2021
“No brakes or very stiff brake pedal when below freezing until car warms up. Have had brake fluid replaced and bled multiple times and problem not fixed. Happens every time below 25 degrees and is worse the colder it is. *tr”Owner report · Service Brakes · Jan 2020

“Vehicle is experiencing a high oil consumption issue. Every 1000 miles it's required one quart of oil to be added to the oil filler. Acura has a warranty extension for this know issue to 8 years or 125,000 miles from the original date of service, whichever comes first. My vehicle was noticed to have this problem at 83,000 miles and just under 9 years of service. Acura customer relations was contacted but refused to service my vehicle due to lack of service at their dealership even though I have records of making my synthetic oil changes and other repairs at an independent mechanic shop.”Owner report · Engine · Aug 2019

“Power steering completely went out while driving. Steering wheel won't turn at all. Light going off about power steering malfunction.”Owner report · Steering · Mar 2019
“While driving at approximately 45 mph my power steering abruptly failed. The "check power steering" indicator came on. The steering wheel immediately locked up. I was able to get the car into a nearby store parking lot but steering ability was almost nonexistent. I had the car towed to my acura dealer who looked at the car and told me the electronic power steering component had failed and would need to be replaced. I researched this online and found that this seems to be a common problem with this make and model. The unit was replaced at a cost of $1,500. This is a serious safety issue and should be investigated as acura/honda has not addressed this at all.”Owner report · Steering · Feb 2019
