“I was driving the car the highway at 55 miles/hour and suddenly the transmission of the car stop for 2 minutes. If another vehicle was following closer to mine, the collision will be inevitable. Then, the car started moving as normal again. Thereafter, the problem resurfaced while I was still on the highway. Finally, I took the closest exit to return home. I still have low mileage on the car and believe also acura should be able to fix this problem. On july 8, I check with my mechanic who told me it's a transmission problem, that acura should have placed my model on their recall. Can you please help with this matter? Honda (American Honda Motor Co.) is recalling certain 1998 Acura 2.2CL, 1998-1999 Acura 2.3CL, 1998-1999 Acura 3.0CL, 2001 Acura 3.2CL and Acura MDX, 1998-2000 Honda Accord Coupe, Accord Sedan, Civic Sedan, Odyssey and Acura 3.5RL, 1999-2000 Acura 3.2TL, 1996-2000 Civic Coupe, 1997-2000 CR-V, 1997-1998 EV Plus, and 1998-1999 Isuzu Oasis vehicles.
