What is being recalled
Volvo Car USA, LLC (Volvo Car) is recalling certain 2025 EX30 vehicles. The high-voltage battery may experience a short circuit and overheat.
Why it is dangerous
A high-voltage battery that overheats increases the risk of a fire.
The fix (free at any franchised dealer)
Owners are advised to park outside and away from structures and limit their charge to a maximum of 70% until the recall repair is complete. Dealers will inspect and replace the battery modules as necessary, free of charge. Owners may contact Volvo Carâs customer service at 1-800-458-1552. Volvo Car's number for this recall is R10355. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning January 26, 2026. This recall was replaced by recall number 26V103.
