“Tl* the contact owns a 2007 volkswagen passat wagon. While driving approximately 30 mph, the vehicle started to hesitate and then stalled. The message "engine shutting off" populated in the message center. The contact also stated that the vehicle had been hesitating for approximately a month when the accelerator pedal was depressed. The dealer (hallmark volkswagen, 2431 gallatin pike n, madison tennessee) was contacted, but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact also received a recall notice for NHTSA campaign number: 17v509000 (fuel system, gasoline). The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. “I received a notice about a recall of the fuel pump module I took it into volkswagen they told me they replaced it but yet my but that myfuel pump went out it leaking gas and they send me on my way they told me it was gonna cost me $700 . “Plastic headlight covers are known to deteriorate due to sunlight. I am told I have lost 30% of my headlights' capacity to illuminate the road. “Takata tecall I have contacted vw to schedule a repair for my takata airbags numerous times, and for months they have stalled me, giving me no answers, and no repairs. “First of all the tekata airbags are a recall. The fuel pump module. It all started woh phen the fuel pump modules failed and the car would turn on but turn right off and I was told it was the fuel pump modules when I had it diagnosed. “Tl* takata recall. The contact owns a 2007 volkswagen passat wagon. The contact received notification of NHTSA campaign number: 16v079000 (air bags) for the frontal driver air bag inflator. The parts to do the repair were unavailable. The contact stated that the manufacturer exceeded a reasonable amount of time for the recall repair. The contact called the local dealer (donaldsons volkswagen located on 5700 sunrise hwy, sayville, ny, 11782) and was informed that parts were unavailable. The manufacturer was notified of the issue and informed the contact that parts would be available in december of 2016. The contact had not experienced a failure. Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Volkswagen) is recalling certain 2009-2014 Volkswagen CC, 2010-2014 Golf, 2010-2014 Eos, 2007-2010 Passat Sedan and Wagon, and 2012-2014 Passat vehicles. Upon deployment of the driver's frontal air bag, excessive internal pressure may cause the inflator to explode.
Remedy: Volkswagen will notify owners, and dealers will replace the driver's frontal air bag inflator with an alternative inflator, free of charge. The recall began March 16, 2018. Owners may contact Volkswagen customer service at 1-800-893-5298. Volkswagen's number for this recall is 69Q9. Note: This recall partially supersedes recall 16V-078.
Volkswagen Group of America, Inc. (Volkswagen) is recalling certain 2009-2016 Volkswagen CC, 2006-2010 Passat and Passat Wagon vehicles. Interruption of electrical power to the fuel pump control module may cause the fuel pump to fail.
Remedy: Volkswagen will notify owners, and dealers will replace the fuel pump control module, free of charge. The recall began June 26, 2018. Owners may contact Volkswagen customer service at 1-800-893-5298. Volkswagen's number for this recall is 20AE.
