The infotainment and vehicle information system randomly goes black, resets itself while driving. There are no error messages or warnings. The system reboots and the screens come back after about 10-20 seconds. There was a recall issued for this back in May of 2026 and I had Mercedes Benz of Asheville, NC perform the required system update on June 17, 2026. Obviously the update did not correct the problem.Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Jul 2026

No warning indicators or audible assistance and other vehicle assistance were not able to display due to the failure. The dealer was contacted; however, the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 21,000.Owner report · Electrical System · Jun 2026
My auto assist emergency braking function has triggered 3 times over the last few months with no other cars or hazzards near me. There was not warning. Each time it caused sudden unexpected severe jerking. More importantly, had there been a car behind me, it would have run into me and caused an collision. I reported this to the dealer who was unable to replicate the problem so it returned my car without a solution. I have notified MBUSA.Owner report · Forward Collision Avoidance · May 2026

Learning that my vehicle is subject to a battery-related recall has seriously undermined my trust. Battery defects in electric vehicles can present risks that include thermal events, loss of vehicle functionality, and other potentially dangerous situations. My vehicle has had warning signs, I received emails about the risks my vehicle can present directly from Mercedes. I have had my vehicle in the service department two times in two months for this same issue. My vehicle is overheating while charging.Owner report · Electrical System,Engine · May 2026
Although I have not experienced safety issues myself, this exact model+year combination has been recalled more than once: 2024 Mercedes EQB 300 4matic, and when I searched by my VIN it shows recall. I’m very concerned if my car is mistakenly not included - what if it has battery issue/fire risk but I am not aware? This poses huge safety risk on day to day driving. I request an investigation on this particular VIN and reasons of why it is not in the recall list despite all infos match.Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Feb 2026
The car would not start, and displaying multiple rotating warnings. The car could not be shifted to neutral. The problem is going away after several hours by itself. Only check engine light remaining after car is able to start. The problem happened three times, most recent on October 20th. The last two problems were potentially addressed by updating software. Obviously the problem is still not fixed.Owner report · Unknown Or Other · Oct 2025

For two months my EQB has been signaling high voltage when I charge it also now I’m having a problem connecting the plug to charge my car it shows red light has faulty it’s at the shop for a week now and I haven’t gotten updates about my car the cameras as well are turning black not working.Owner report · Electrical System,Unknown Or Other · Oct 2024
I’ve been hearing a creaking noise in the rear when coming to a stop. Independent mechanic inspected it and said the subframe was severely rusted and that I probably should not drive long distances until it is fixed. They researched and said others have had similar issue. Mercedes apparently is aware and offers an “extended warranty.” I have an appointment in two weeks (!) to have it looked at by a Mercedes mechanic. They will pay for the repair/replacement IF warranted. Should be a recall, IMO. Can’t imagine that the part in question, which according to my mechanic, “essentially holds the back of the car together” wouldn’t be an immediate recall. Car has 120k miles on it.Owner report · Suspension · Aug 2024
