I bought this 1995 mazda millenia [xxx] in march. By the time I bought it, the odometer read 65000+. Later on because I had a lot of problems with it, I asked the repair shop to check it's background for me. The carfax report they forwarded to me showed in 2002 it was already 185000. The shop manager told me there were too many issues with the car and it's not worth fixing. From march till now, I've spent close to $1000 to fix various failures on the vehicle. I took my car into the dealer for front in wobble / noise and engine oil consumption. 3 weeks and $1980 later, the front end was worse and I was told that the oil is burning internally and needed to be replaced. Neither the dealer nor mazda would work with me to get back some of the money. 3 months later, the transmission failed with no warning. This car is dealer maintained. *akOwner report · Power Train · Oct 2004

While driving on the ohio turnpike my right front tire tread peeled off but the tire did not blow out. The tread did $3,600 to my car. While at the body shop the left front tire tread was also found to be ready to peel off. Six months later, both of the rear tires were found in the same condition and to be replaced. *nmOwner report · Tires · Feb 2004
I will get the rest of the totals of repairs. I have to get them from my daughter. The airbags burst open on her after she had a blow out. She was severly burned with chemical in the bags. Her eye was damaged. She lost time from her job, 4 teeth were damaged. Thank god there wasn't any traffic. The trama she went through was awful. And there's no telling if her face will be scarred. She is 20 and trying to make it on her own. Shouldn't car dealers know if they are selling recalls. Shouldn't the mazda dealer know about this. We took it to a mazda dealer first. The price of repair is outrageous. What is the law on recalls.Owner report · Visibility · Oct 2003
