I was recently involved in a car crash. Had my foot on the brake and my vehicle barely stopped or slowed down and I ended up hitting another vehicle head on. Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain model year 2015 Lexus NX200t vehicles manufactured December 18, 2014, to February 2, 2015. These vehicles are equipped with an Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS), Traction Control System (TRAC), and Vehicle Stability Control System (VSC) which are controlled by an ABS actuator. A component inside the actuator may have been damaged during its assembly and may cause the actuator to not function properly.

Remedy: Toyota will notify owners, and dealers will inspect and replace the ABS actuator, as necessary, free of charge. The recall began on July 21, 2015. Owners may contact Toyota customer service at 1-800-331-4331.
