Tl*the contact owns a 1994 jaguar xj12. The contact stated that the vehicle developed a leak in the coolant expansion tank along the seam weld. While driving 55 mph, the radiator fluid leaked and the vehicle overheated. The vehicle was repaired, but the failure recurred. Recall service # 5451 was found on autozone.com (alldata). The dealer will diagnose the failure on july 13, 2007, per the recall notice. The purchase date was unavailable. This is a 12 cylinder engine with only 6 cylinders working. This caused unburned fuel and air to be pumped into the fuel exhaust system, which then overheated the catalytic converter and started a fire. Dealer has been contacted. *akOwner report · Engine And Engine Cooling
The self-leveling suspension system failed. According to the dealerships, there is not a remedy for this failed system other than to replaced it with the same system. Jaguar made replacements kits for the xj6 but not for the xj12Owner report · Suspension

VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: PASSENGER VEHICLES. THE HOOD LINER CAN SAG AND INTERFERE WITH THE THROTTLE LINKAGE.

Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPAIR THE HOOD LINER.

CERTAIN REPLACEMENT FUEL FILTERS, FRAM BRAND NAME P/N G3727, WITH DATE CODES X52911 THROUGH X60801 SEQUENTIALLY OR X600141 AND A MEXICO COUNTRY OR ORIGIN MARKING ON THE FUEL FILTER HOUSING MANUFACTURED FROM OCTOBER 18, 2005, THROUGH MARCH 21, 2006, SOLD FOR USE ON THE VEHICLES LISTED ABOVE AND ON CERTAIN SCHOOL BUSES. (TO SEE THE SCHOOL BUS ENGINE SIZES, CLICK ON "DOCUMENT SEARCH" AND THEN "BUS APPLICATIONS"). THE CONNECTOR ON THE FUEL FILTER WAS NOT MANUFACTURED TO HONEYWELL'S SPECIFICATION. AS A RESULT, THE O-RING MAY NOT SEAT CORRECTLY ON THE FUEL LINE.

Remedy: HONEYWELL WILL NOTIFY OWNERS AND REPLACE THE FUEL FILTERS FREE OF CHARGE. THE RECALL BEGAN ON OCTOBER 18, 2006. OWNERS MAY CONTACT FRAM CUSTOMER SERVICE AT 1-800-890-2075 (OPTION 1).
