“Hi , I came on here to see if there was an issue with airbags deploying on the gmxlc sierra 2022. A cow hobbled out into the route 11 , mooers , NY and I impacted with It well over 45mph . My chest hit the steering wheel and my neck was jerked forward and no airbag. Not sure if something is wrong woth the sensor or what. “As I'm driving in my car the normal/regular headlights on the GMC Sierra were so bright that I could not see the road in front of me. I could include the Subaru lineup and the Toyota Rav4 in this. “My 2003 gmc sierra 1500 sle has corroded brake, transmission and fuel lines. A certified mechanic stated that they all need replaced or breakage and leakage will occur without warning causing break, transmission or fuel delivery or fire damages. “Tl*the contact owns a 2003 gmc envoy xlt. The contact stated the jack that holds the vehicle up while changing a flat was locked in place which made it impossible to release and lower the vehicle to the ground. The mechanical jack had to be kicked from underneath the vehicle in order to release it. There was also a crack in the rear drivers side rim. The dealer was not contacted. “I have a 2004 gmc sierra 1500. I am having several problems with the instrument panel, speedometer not reading properly, temp gauge wrong readings. The dealers want $750.00 to repair if the vehicle is over 75,000 miles. They have said they sent recall information for this problem, I have never received anything of the sort. For a vehicle I paid 32, 000 for I find this to be unsat. “My 2010 gmc acadia slt rolls backward on inclines even though the transmission is in drive. I have driven automatic transmission vehicles for years and in my experience they are not supposed to roll backward in drive. If anyone is behind the vehicle when this occurs they could very well be crushed. CERTAIN R&B, INC. CENTRAL MULTIPORT FUEL INJECTION (CMFI) FUEL RETURN LINES, MODELS HELP 55163, NAPA BALKAMP 700-3270, AND THE CONNECTION 2560001, SOLD FOR USE AS REPLACEMENT EQUIPMENT FOR THE VEHICLES LISTED ABOVE. THE FUEL RETURN LINE HAS A MECHANICAL BLEED VALVE WHICH WAS NOT INSTALLED AT THE PROPER TORQUE.
Remedy: R&B, INC. WILL NOTIFY OWNERS AND AT THE CUSTOMERS REQUEST, EITHER REPLACE THE FUEL LINE OR OFFER A FULL REFUND. THE RECALL BEGAN ON MAY 4, 2006. OWNERS MAY CONTACT R&B, INC. AT 215-712-5330.
